The Stihl 020 T started being produced in 1993. Stihl classifies it as a special saw. The special saw for tree service is handy and can be guided with great precision. It is specially designed for use in the treetops, for instance by tree service crews. It also comes in an AV version.

It is still in production today, but it became the MS 200 T in about 2002 when Stihl branded all of their range with different model numbers. It is probably the most popular climbing saw in the world having been designed with tree surgeons in mind.
